Services customized
to client’s needs

 

Precious soul’s team aims to support its client’s and client’s families’ needs in an effective and meaningful manner. We expand our programs and make changes to existing programs based on our client needs. We offer a range of services as detailed below that suit our client’s needs. We also offer relevant consultative services at our Centre to help clients receive services at one place.

Consultation & Assessment

Precious Souls offers a free initial consultation with family and caregivers. Professionals meet with client and client’s family during the initial consultation visit to develop an individualized family service plan which then leads to a detailed assessment. We offer consultation in multiple formats such as in person, via phone, skype, video calls etc. Our team has a deep understanding of cultural differences and is sensitive to these differences not only during our initial consultation meeting but throughout the term with our client. We use relevant assessment tools such as ABLLS, VBMAPP, AFLS, and PEAK etc. for assessment of needs and strengths.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

Precious Souls offers one on one ABA therapy sessions & group ABA therapy sessions. ABA therapy is an evidence-based therapy proven to be the most effective for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). It is provided by trained therapists and supervised by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). At Precious Souls, we ensure that our clients receive effective therapies that are delivered by compassionate therapists.

Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI) services

Precious Souls addresses the high needs of preschoolers diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our EIBI program aims to help children and families fill in the gaps in skill development at a very early age. We provide individualized EIBI service in which parent coaching is an integral part so that every moment with their child becomes a therapeutic moment for the family.

Social & Communication Groups

Precious Souls offer weekly and weekend drop in programs geared towards building social and communication skills of students that have needs in the areas of social and communication skills. Our groups are planned and executed based on the individualized needs of our clients. We have groups suitable for all age groups. Flexible timings are available for such groups.

After school support programs (respite care, tutoring etc.)

Precious Souls recognizes the importance of after school support and provides need based support to clients and their families. Parents that need respite care support and after school support for tutoring for their child with special needs can avail these services at Precious Souls. Children attending our after school programs have access to a variety of educational materials and resources.

Registered Behavior Technician's Training

Precious Souls is committed to create good Registered Behavior Technician’s (RBT) that are knowledgeable in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and its application with the clients they serve. Our in-person workshops provides potential RBT’s an excellent opportunity to get a very clear understanding of ABA concepts. We also provide the competency assessment for our participants.

Winter, March Break & Summer Camps

Parent coaching is an integral part of all services offered at Precious Souls. Parents are always welcome to observe sessions. Parents are provided with strategies to utilize with their child in the child’s natural environment. The team observes parents working with their child and provides them with feedback on the implementation of the strategies. On an ongoing basis our team meets with families to provide them with feedback on their child’s progress. Generalization of skills acquired is one of the key components of Applied Behavior Analysis. Our team coaches families on how to promote generalization of skills.

Other Consultative Services

• Services offered by an experienced Developmental Therapist:
A developmental therapist helps infants and toddlers diagnosed with global developmental disorders and ASD catch-up with the motor (gross & fine) skills. Services include Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Cognitive skills, Sensory Integration Process Application, Activities of Daily Living skills training, Self-help life skill acquisition. In this treatment the modalities that are applied are: Joint Range of Motion (JROM) activities, Muscle Strengthening activities, Cognitive activities; Reflex Inhibiting Patterns, Developmental Motor Patterns, Play Therapy; Sensory Integration Process, Play Therapy.
